My files wont save and they back log to the very beginning

After this most recent update my games no longer save, last time I played I had done certain things for my sims and only half of it has come back, i went to find a recovered file but they are not working either, I have tried everything to fix it but there is no luck, i have taken out all my mods, cleared my cache and it still doesn't work, I had no problems until the update.
