My game has been crashing after installing royalty & legacy.

I preordered the new expansion and have been really looking forward to playing it but I have been running into an issue of my game crashing when I try saving my game! I’ve lost hours of game play now and I’m pretty bummed. I’ve made sure I’ve had plenty of storage cleared, game cache cleared etc. nothing has work to resolve the issue. HELP! (I’m a console player so 0 mods)

Platform: Xbox Series S

Time: started occurring after installing Royalty and Legacy. 
Leading up to crash: Game plays fine, try to save game through “Save” option.

Crash: game looks like it tries to save, noting the “saving” dialogue pops up. Game then crashes to Xbox Home Screen. Upon re-launching, the save did not take place and all progress is lost.

Troubleshooting: Tried with multiple families.  cleared Xbox cache. Ensured at least 8gb of storage free on internal drive.
