So I’ve been having this issue where every once in a whole my game just won’t save. I try to save and it keeps going for hours. I took my CC and mods out and nothing. Since this started happening I’ve just been forcing my game to close by restarting my whole computer.
To answer the questions in order
I've adjusted your thread tags then. If you're stuck, then it's just loading times that are long/endless.
Crashing is when the game auto-closes. Game settings was meant for the options.
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
