My sim keeps saying he can’t enter a room

I’m on PlayStation so I don’t know if that has something to do with it.

I told my sim to come back into the house to get something to eat but he said he couldn’t enter, which was weird because everything was fine before, I didn’t move or add anything in the way. I made sure the door was unlocked but it still didn’t work. So I deleted anything that was near the door but still wasn’t working. I deleted everything in the room but he still couldn’t enter. I got rid of the room and rebuilt it but again he couldn’t enter and it was like that for every room, I don’t know if it’s got something to do with the new update but I’m literally unable to play game of my sim can’t go anywhere.
