My sims will cancel/stop actions, and just stand in the same spot forever

I have tried repairing this game and it's still doing this:

My sims will cancel/stop actions that I give them and will do certain actions that I never picked or that didn't seem right at that moment. This is becoming very frustrating. I have spent so much money on all the packs and add ons.
