Okay, I had no idea what was happening but this makes so much sense. I had a family with great relationships and high compatibility and they were all being such jerks to each other. Constant unprovoked mean interactions destroying their relationships. My game also bugged out 2 times and I had to exit, but managed to save by hitting manage worlds first - worried I've saved a broken world now but I really hope the updates fix it. My sim panel just kept showing the character values and weird arrows up and down glitching. Guess it's time to shut it down & to give up for the night.
