Since the last round of updates (Enchanted by Nature etc., I'm not sure which one because I did them all at once), my plants (in the ground) and harvestables no longer show what season a plant or crop grows in. The planted plants will tell me if it is in season or not, but once a crop is picked, when I hover over it it no longer displays which seasons it will grow in. (Attached screenshots display this)
Secondarily, I usually take my plants that are out of season and put them in the household inventory to save space, then put them back in the ground on the correct season. Previously, the crop would say "out of season" on it when I first replaced it in the ground, then at the next growing time, it would realize it was the right season and continue to grow. Now, it continually says "out of season" even though multiple sim days have passed (and I have been present at the lot during the growing time), and I have restarted my game multiple times.
