If the sims stops in the middle of making something you can't resume knitting. It gives an error. Also the unfinished ball of wool/yarn stays in your inventory and can't resume from there either. Losing money when doing a rags to riches because you lose that wool/yarn. Anyone have this issue?

On that thread, Abria_Ignis recommends using the cheat inventory.purge to clear the Sim's entire inventory including "hidden" items including unfinished projects. Haven't tried it myself yet, but I plan to, whenever I muster up the patience to unload all the stuff I don't want purged from my Sim's massive inventory...
