No swimming option

None of my Sims are able to swim in Sulani or Tartosa. It seems the ocean isn't recognised as when I click it will do nothing or say draw / build sand sculpture.

I am playing the Sims 4 on a Macbook
This has been going on for 2 weeks +
I have tried:
Reinstalling the game 3 times
Repairing the game multiple times
New saves
Clear Cache
Playing Standard version
No mods or CC installed
Deleting localthumbcache folder
I have reported this on EA chat various times 
I have the most current version of the game installed. 

PLEASE HELP :(
