Not expanded to Ops error when deleting floor

I've been playing the Tiny Town challenge using residential rentals to separate the townies. In my recent build I'm building a warehouse loft kind of house. Anyways I've been trying to delete part of the floor on the second floor and every time I hit it with either the sledge hammer or delete floors I get the "not expanded to ops error". I've rebooted the game, moved the sim out, deleted all the furniture, there is absolutely nothing clipping or in the way. I don't play with any mods or CC.

I know the residential lots can be buggy but dang this is really annoying 🫠 anyone know how to fix this?

justabrean It's hard to figure out what the issue is causing that error message without pics of the lot or having the lot to troubleshoot. I am willing to take a look at the lot if you want me too. Just upload the lot to the gallery and reply here with the name of the lot and your user id if different from the userid that you use here (justabrean).
