When purchasing starter seeds, I am only getting one type of flower in the packet where I used to get a variety. When attempting to open multiple packets to try and get different flowers/fruits, I seem to get everything but lily or cherry. I will get apples, grapes, chrysanthemums, begonias, etc. but I will never get lily or cherry. I did get snapdragon one time out of the 50 packs opened.

Which packs do you own ? There are several places where you can try buy those specific plants.
The first packet you open should have contained those after that it's back to default.
Unrelated to the event, there's currently is an issue with the packets spawning the same harvestables all the time: Every packet of starter fruits has the same harvestables
Thanks - yes, when I bought the packet of starter seeds on Tuesday for the Reaper event it worked fine, since then it hasn’t in any save file. I did find a workaround for now and was able to get those items in the specific Summer seed packets.
