Occult Eyes Revert back to normal ones

If I change a normal sim’s (new or existing) eyes to an occult one and then change the hair color, use the apply button or sometimes just the outfit category reverts the eye color.

I’ve been experiencing this problem since the occult eyes were unlocked for all sim types. But couldn’t figure out what caused it. But when playing with my sister she was able to determine that changing hair color (not sure this is the only reason but it did cause the issue) was a cause.

but I have personally seen them change semi randomly for nonsensical reasons.

And from some quick testing it seems that if you use the eyes on the intended occult (alien eyes on aliens, vampire eyes on vampires, ect.) the bug doesn’t occur, but I’m not certain.

also side note my sister was using an old sim from my gallery as a base for a new sim and the hair and eye color kept reverting when she used the apply button. It did stop after a little bit, but it was frustrating. I’m unsure if it is related or not.
