It persisting on a new save is a bit odd. Did you move anything over from the old one ? Use same Sims/same houses ?
The exclamation marks haven't been around for a while so check with CM if they want this merged or new thread.
My save is indeed old (I started it in 2023) and I’ve been playing it for almost three years. It’s a 10-generation legacy, and this is the first time I’ve encountered an issue like this.
However, the problem does not occur only with this old save. Even when I start a completely new game without mods or CC, Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, and Newcrest show the same error: all lots have the exclamation mark, and I can’t move in, visit, or build there. Other worlds work normally.
I have backups of my legacy save (on a USB drive, fortunately), so the save itself is not the main problem.
It would be a shame to lose the save, as I have fully edited the two base worlds (lots and Sims). I wouldn’t mind moving my entire legacy to a new save if the problem only occurred in my old one, but the issue persists even in new saves. It’s like the game doesn’t detect the lots.
I’m also a bit concerned (without knowing too much about this) about potential conflicts with the upcoming Adventure Awaits expansion and its new lot type: vacation retreats.
I’m not sure if I can help in any way, perhaps by copying and pasting the LastException, as the file wasn’t uploaded. In any case, the error is: KeyError: 'get_current_venue() Lot instance not found:'
