Outfits changing after leaving CAS

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
• which sceanrio are you playing ? Does this happen without an scenario ?
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
• Did you get the Sim through Cupid's Corner ?
• Does it happen with any Sim or just this specific one ?

I’m not using CC for this outfit and it’s base game clothing. I do have mods installed, but I will test after removing them.

I’m not playing a scenario.

I’m playing on PC.

The Sim was not created through Cupid’s Corner.

I’ve noticed it happens more than once, not just with one specific Sim.

Let me know if you need more information.

I'm having the same issue as of today's update. I change my Sim to their winter/outdoor outfit and they switch to their fitness outfit. Not a CC or mod issue.

• Do you mean they just wear a completely different outfit or change do a different category ?
• Does the outfit you choose then appear on the outfit change GUI or the one you created ?
• Could this be what you are seeing:

JMN29831​ Do they change into a different outfit you didn't create or is it the outfit you picked but a different category then you had in CAS ?

For example, I went into CAS and selected a pink short-sleeve shirt for my Sim.
In CAS, my Sim is wearing the pink shirt and the item is correctly selected.
The same design is selected and my Sim is clearly wearing that exact item.
But when I return to live mode, sometimes it’s the same design in a different color,
and other times it’s a completely different shirt that I didn’t choose.
Also, when my Sim changes into pre-set outfits (for example hot weather outfits), they switch into a top I never selected.
This only happens with tops.
I saw the February 19 bug fix notes and the listed fixes didn’t seem related to my issue,
but since that update I haven’t noticed the bug happening again.
Also, the thread you tagged (Played Sim creates new outfits | EA Forums - 11879522) mentions
it happening after showering, but in my case it doesn’t only happen after a shower.

I don't think it's only showering. Other Simmers reported it for other instances.

Could you send your save to EA in case it's the same ?

I was playing yesterday and the bug is still there. This time my Sim changed into a completely different top that I never selected. How should I send my save file? Should I upload it through Google Drive? Please let me know.

I am also having this issue. My adult sim is fine, but after my other sim aged up into a child I went to CAS to change their outfits. Once I went to live mode my sim turned completely black and all of the options under “Change Outfit” were not what I put together for the sim. :/

I was just playing again and now even the hairstyle changed to something different… haha.

This save shows the outfit and hairstyle changing issue.

I have this exact problem, mostly with shoes! At this moment most of my shoes change completely (not just a different color of the same shoe) when going from CAS to live mode.

I play on PS5 (so no mods or CC)

I noticed this after the latest update

I've been having this issue for a while, I can't remember how long, but it's been a good long while. It's annoying. I dislike having to return to CAS to remove the random outfit, and I sometimes have to do this more than once, because it'll generate another random outfit after I've removed the previous one.
