Packs won’t show even tho owned + installed

I have an older Mac book air and the past two days I can’t even play Sims. First it was giving me issues of “not online” despite my strong internet connection etc. finally fixed it by logging out and back into my EA acc. But it won’t load any of my previously owned packs. Ive checked to make sure they are installed and that the account is correct which everything is normal. I’ve tried going into my Finder files and clearing the cache but still does nothing to help. I’ve even tried uninstalling reinstalling some of the packs and still nothing. The game and EA says I own them but in my create-a-sim it says I do not own the packs. I’ve tried everything but it just won’t load them. Please help. 

the only possible cause I can think of is I tried to download a mod that would change sims eye color but since then I have uninstalled and deleted the mod completely and it still is giving me these issues.
