Paint by reference and photos turn white blank each time reloading into game

Same! I don't have the Adventure Awaits pack but this has been happening for me since the game update a couple months ago (when Businesses & Hobbies released). I don't have any cc or mods either. This is important to my gameplay too bc I also have a legacy save where I have them paint portraits of each new generation.  I still can see my old portraits (painted pre-update), but any I try to paint now always turn white once I log off the game.

I've tried saving the paintings in rooms and uploading the rooms to my library; deleting the cache; starting a new save file; pretty much everything. But no matter what, I can't have reference paintings in any of my saves. Its so frustrating and while I'm not glad other ppl are having the same problem, hopefully this helps elevate it to EA to fix.

Yeah I also tried all those things as well with same issue 🙃hopefully it gets fixed for all those with the bug

I'm having the same problems as well! Although i do use mods and cc, but it only started happening after business & hobbies & adventre awaits... i hope the sims team will see this so that we can take pictures again.. all of the photos from my family tree generations growing up has dissapeared

I am having this same problem. I wanted to keep portraits of all my legacy heirs but they keep deleting. I've tried it twice now. I am keeping a back up room on my gallery for now, but would be nice to get this fixed so I can actually have these paintings displayed in my legacy house.

This has been happening to me too since the Businesses and Hobbies update. I have no mods in my game. I’ve tried everything, including uninstalling my entire folder, re-downloading the game and having it generate an entirely new folder. Don’t do this unless you make a back-up, by the way. Anyway, it didn’t work. Paint from reference is completely broken. Even when I upload the paintings to the gallery, they download blank. It’s incredibly frustrating because I have a forever save file and I’ve managed to keep it from corrupting all this time until now.
