Party guest don't show up

Invited party guests don't show up when I try to host a social event.
So far I've tried to host a spooky party, incognito costume party, family reunion, house party and dinner party on my residential lot (Mystic Crossroads in Mourningvale) with a varying amount of guests, but none show up.

I believe the problem started when my sim inherited a small business lot, it caused lagging and made the unit outlines be visible at all times in build mode so I sold it. It made both the outlines and the lagging go away but only after that did I notice that party guests wont show up at social events. Hired help arrive, but no invited guests.

I have a skin default, hair and clothes cc.

    thanks for checking.

    Could you create a copy of your save game (with save as) and then bulldoze the lot and place another or just test on the empty lot ?

    I play on PC. I removed all cc and tried to host different parties with my current family on the same lot, another family on the same lot and with my family in a new save, both on mystic crossroads and Bargain bend in Willow Creek. 
    It would appears the adult sim in my current household who inherited the small business is the only one whos guests wont arrive, her teenage son and the Goths can throw parties just fine. Shes human and is top level reaper career if that matters.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • I don't think it's related to your skin but please always make sure to test on vanilla before reporting something in the bug forum. No matter what it is.
    • What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
    • Did you test another household that's didn't have the issue the lot currently has to see if the two are related ?
