theodoraaaaxnq​ Your issue is that no matter which household you try to load, the game bounces to the world screen?

The August patch broke many, many script mods, with this being the symptom, and these are still the ones most likely to be your problem. Use the Previously Broken mods and CC for many (not all!) mods that have no updates. Use “Updated” in the Broken/Updated Mods list for patch 1.117, but note many are not yet updated or cleared in the current list.

hey so  im currently facing this issue and ive tried removing the mods folder, and then the game ran smoothly. as soon as i put it back in, the same issue occured. ive deleted all of the "lastexception" and everything with "last" and some "localthumbcache" any ideas why this issue is back? what mod could be causing it?

I like how someone always says to remove mods, like we've had this game for over a decade, we KNOW all the common steps to take....

i've got this same issue. im just not ready to see "are your mods outdated? try repairing the game" 20 million times....like dude, thats the first thing we always do, we're not noobs.

JordynNicole113​ It's up to modders, not EA, to keep their mods working. Start at Broken/Updated Mods & CC. 

My game is also unplayable and doing the same thing. So glad I’ve spent over $1000 on this game and they break it with every patch. 

201207164789124​ Yes, but with conditions. So, if you delete every mod that causes it, then you'll be good. If you delete only the one mod named in the LE, then you won't necessarily be good. The game produces the LE with the first mod that it runs into causing this. It will keep happening till all mods causing it are gone. That's why I recommend starting in Broken/Updated Mods & CC

so apparently, if i delete the mod that’s causing all this from my folder, everything will be good again?

I tried making a new save and had the same issue. I refuse to buy anymore kits or packs until this is fixed (if it ever is), I really hope Inzoi gets through its testing phase soon. I'm tired of losing my legacy saves to corruption, and the game getting broken even worse after every new release.

Some other people had/still have the same issue; i can access cas/build mode but not play mode. every time i try to play, it throws me back to the map. I noticed this bug a week ago, if not 2 weeks :(

So after I updated the game I cant enter any house in any world in any of my games. I enter the game, click on my house, its loading and the nothing, Im back to menu. How can it be fixed? 

The game shows an indecisions of coruptnes. 

When I try to build in a exsample a park and I get somewhat in whit the loading screen and I get right back at world select, then the building shows like it is unfinshied in my game. And for the last time this as noting whit mods too do! This does aslo happen too sim fameliys but,  you olny get thosed right back at world selecting screen. And that happens in all worlds.

The same thing is Happening to me. So annoying!

I've had this issue since the update... I can't load into a household to play - it bounces me back out to maps regardless of the family I try to play + when I create a new family from scratch. While building on any lots and going to save... it's unable to save. Hard to play a game that's unplayable.

I can download the game, but when I going household and click house it loading like normaly, but then it came back  houses view. I can create new family and move it, but I can't get into house. I tried repair the game, I restart game, it's not working. This came after lastest update of the game.

When I join sims for the past weeks I have not been able to play due to even restarting my computer and repairing the game. Whether my family is big or small or if I click on a random family outside my load to play- It will not let me join the family and play my gameplay. It brings me back to the home screen or the screen where different maps are. This is very frustrating. First the cas messed up one of my loads I worked really hard on and it won't be fixed. Now I can't even play the sims 4. This is ridiculous! I haven't been able to play a real game even after fairies uploaded. What is there to do?

Since you have this issue even after disabling mods/cc, you need to check in a clean user folder.  The instructions for doing so are in this thread [START HERE] Crashing/Back to Map/Endless loading (Patch 117.221) | EA Forums - 12512130 that is stickied at the top of this forum.  I would suggest you share the linked thread with the friends you have that are also encountering issues so they will know what steps to take to troubleshoot their games as well.

Do you have any mods? If you have, have you tried to start a vanilla save to check if the problem is still there?

Sul Sul! I've actually been having a problem with The Sims 4 since the last update. What's the problem? The game starts without a problem, but the problem occurs when selecting a family. When I select any family, the game loads, then kicks me back to the world selection screen. This isn't just happening to me. I asked a friend, and she replied that she was indeed having the same problem, and so was her friend. The problem persists after disabling the mod. 

 I don't like the fact that the game has bugs after bugs, and new add-ons are being released that, apart from making the game more interesting, also add a lot of new bugs, sometimes not visible at first glance. 

You don't have to remove all yout rmods.  Just create a temporary mod folder elsewhere - and move your game mods to it..  Then check them all for updates - and update those that have them.    Then move them over in small groups - eg 5 or 10 from this new temp folder to your game mod folder.   Load the game each time and if it works, those mods are fine.  If it fails - then a mod in the last group you loaded caused the fail.  So remove those mods and then load them one by one - loading the game each time.  Eventually - due to the fail - you will find out which mod caused this. 

Repeating the process you will eventiually end up with a game that plays with mods it accepts.  It is time consuming, but it's the only way (presently) to play your game with mods.
