Pets turning jet black if pre painted in cas bug

Pc player, and only wonderful whims mod installed UPDATED mod since patch fix, so it shouldn't be the mod. I have cc in game too, and its all working fine.

I spent hours making my dog in real life in game, dalmatian mix, painted all her main spots in the right spot, she looked just like one of my real fur babies. This was a few weeks ago. Did the update and now she's jet black. I realised it's the paint texture in cas, as when I clicked paint off, her dalmatian coat came back, and then proceeded to spend another 2 hours repainting her. Had to jump out of game to do errands, so I closed the game. Came back opened the game and she's jet black again. And I know I saved like 4 times before exiting cos the game is bugging out so much at the moment. 

RAGHHHH so frustrating. I play with pets sooooo much in game because I have so many pets in real life. And I love animals. Lol my sim family have a farm in cottage living. I was going to add the rest of my pets, and now they will all be jet black if I want them detailed painted, which I obviously do lol. PLEASE fix this bug asap its a pretty big deal for the family pet players in game.

I have the drag plates or rubbish bug going on too which is also frustrating. And my sims will sometimes just stand there until I zoom in on them, then they kick into gear and do what they're supposed to be doing.

It's getting to the point of not wanting to play large households, or just losing interest in playing the game in general because, seriously? I've spent soo much money on all these packs, and hundreds of hours of gameplay, always wanting to buy more packs, for it to just collapse like this over a bloody patch update, which should have been tested before released and breaking so many peoples game. And I've spent the last 3 days trying fix it all, research if I even can fix it, and why or what has caused it. Which I've finally learnt is this patch update. I need to take a break from Sims now until its actually working again as its frustrating me too much, which sucks cos it's my happy place. Again please fix these bugs as soon as possible 🙏
