When I try to place an object in my sim’s inventory in this case: a tripod, I receive the text bubble stating object placed in inventory when I drag it to my sims head icon but the object just goes back to where it was grabbed from & isn't in the inventory.
Could you add a screenshot ? Have you tried the Put in inventory Interaction instead ?
