planting in basement not working anymore

I am playing a bunker challenge. Before I could plant in planters without problems, now the sims just put the fruit or vegetable on it and don't plant it. There is not even the "... could not germinate" massage. When I click again on the fruit, it only gives the option to eat it. 

No Mods, no cc, latest patch updated, playing on pc

I don't want a workaround. Let me know when it is fixed!

All this bugs and the still not fixed game file corruption issue are the reason I did not buy the business and hobby pack and the garage kit, even I like the concept.

    tested this in my game and have no issues.

    Have you tested multiple lots ? Do you always use the plant from the menu or do you place them first and then try to plant ?

    Hello, thank you for the answer. I tested yesterday a view thing. Looks like, adults can do this, but children and teenager can't anymore. I have a child with mental skill 10, he can not plant, the teenager could not either. Adults can plant in basement. So I teleported an adult to this room, he could plant. 

    The whole gardening is broken since years now. Weeding, bugs spraying... does not work on some plants. 

    In an other save file I could not practice stand up with infants in basements, so my first thought was that this is an other basement issue.

    Children work for me too. Teens too. Tried both using plant on the pot as well as putting the flower first and then plant.

    Is it any specific plants for you ? Have you tested a different family/save as well ?
