Plants revert to dirt pile (Patch 1.101.290) - Inconclusive Cause

My Sims plants that are in season keep randomly resetting back to dirt piles. This will usually happen on Friday when I planted them on Monday. My Sims relies on gardening for food and this bug has made it incredibly hard to garden. The plants I have under cover such as the dragon fruit plant will reset less often, but typically after I have evolved it once or twice making this bug even more frustrating.
