Played Sim creates new outfits

My sims that had outfits in all of the available categories have had their outfits ruined by the last patch. They have duplicates of the same outfit over and over within each category and there's no way to recover their "correct" outfits.  Even recovering a previous version of the save doesn't fix the issue. The outfits are completely gone. This is incredibly frustrating after taking the time to dress my sims in every available outfit slot and now they're ruined.

My sims outfits have duplicated from outfit 1 to all 5 outfits in each category, everyday, formal, summer, swimwear, etc.  Like everyone reported in this thread this happened after my child sim came out the shower also. 

Something weird is happening with outfits. Sims are wearing random outfits that shouldn't exist. Old hairstyles in the shower. I feel sorry for the wasted YEARS if the outfits in all categories are duplicated. Tell me this isn't true.

Me too. I have the same issue recently.... I have spent hours creating outfits for my sims in each category, but now they are completely messed up..  In each category, sims suddenly have duplicate outfits in like 3-4 slots replacing those I created for them.  Does anyone know what caused this problem????  It's so annoying and frustrating.

I'm having the same issue but only with the male sim in my household? Don't use any mods or cc (nothing installed on this computer ever), So far I've only tried with the normal shower option, every time I shower (snowy escapes). It also happened in the Snowy escape bath

I'm having the same problem. I use cc, but this only has happened in my current save, absolutely no other ones. The first unusual change started after having her baby at the hospital. After getting out of the medical/surgery table she was using an outfit I did not set for her, then back at home she kept appearing with random outfits for the Everyday category after using the shower that comes with Sleek Bathroom kit. I also can delete the newly generated outfit in CAS, but it will appear again in the Everyday category in some moments.

Mine is doing this on when I play on my MAC. I don't use mods/cc, I noticed so far it only happens when I play using fairy sims.  I noticed it with my current saved household I'm playing with a female fairy sim. So, I tried repairing it in the EA app.  I tried making a new household with one of each occult to see if it was just the fairy sims, any occult, just female sims, or it didn't matter. In both households it was the fairy sim that was having the random outfit change.  Most glitches/bugs I can ignore or overlook. This one is really messing with me. It is actually erasing the outfits I have in CAS and replacing them with this one the game is putting her in. It was multiple outfits in every category were being replaced with this randomly generated outfit, and I will go fix it, and it will just get replaced again. Its very frustrating, time consuming, and just aggravating.
