Polishing objects never completes

Could you please provide the following information

• Did you never have mods/cc or remove them ? Please pick a thread tag for that.
• Does this happen for any object or specific ones ?
• Does this happen with any Sim/Household
• Does this happen on a new save for testing purposes ?

There are known issues with certain upgraded objects

I do not use mods or custom content.

The issue happened with several existing household objects after they became dirty. I encountered it with a stove, toilet, sink, and tea maker. When a Sim tried to polish/clean them, the interaction never completed and they would continue indefinitely.

I sold and replaced the affected objects, and after continuing the same save the next day, the issue did not occur again. So far, it seems to have affected only those existing objects after they became dirty, and I have not experienced it again since replacing them.

It happened with different Sims, including a maid NPC.

were any of the items upgraded ? Do you remember ?

I didn't manually upgrade any of the affected items. However, gnomes have occasionally upgraded household objects automatically in my game. As far as I remember, the stove, toilet, sink, and tea maker that were affected were among the objects upgraded by the gnomes.
