Do you have the “allow romantic invites and requests” and the “allow friendly invites and requests” option selected in game options? If not, make sure that they are selected.
Also, if the issue remains, and if you use mods/cc,try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.

Yeah, I do have those options selected. I’m guessing it must be CC or something because I’ve tried everything and it’s still not popping up.  It’s also taking my SIM absolutely forever to get to graduation. She’s been in high school in real time for a couple of weeks and it’s just not coming up and there’s no option to graduate early.

You can't graduate early, even by the option on the computer? She does have an A grade, right? Graduating early won't happen unless the sim has an A grade (sorry if this seems like a stupid or obvious question). If they are close to the next grade, sometimes you need to send them alone for a day to get their grade to move up to the next one.

I do!!! Even after Steps already taken: (1) Removed all mods and CC (2) Deleted cache files (3) Renamed the entire “The Sims 4” folder to generate a clean one (4) Tested with a brand new save (5) Tested after regenerating settings Issue persists even after full reset (uninstalling and reinstalling the game).

i've had the same issue and i get ethe invite for the hangout before prom every week - even though my sim graduated early. still no prom tho. not before graduating either and not in the calendar.
