Read History of Time Travel & Ask about Shard not working for Blast from Past

Started new save to start this week's quests.  I disabled my mods before even trying the tasks this week. I got a new computer and do not have an ability to get the same save from last week. The option it says should appear does not appear when I click on ANY bookcase at the original at the Willow Creek library. I was able to do the musuem task, so I decided to just move on. I then just decided to try to do talk to an Elder about the Shard task. It wouldn't allow me to do any indroduction to the any Elder sim. So the elders doen't appear in my relationship panel.  This issue with the Elder was same issue happened with the Emit last week. I deleted the file suggested last week to fix the issue with Emit and that worked, but do not want to lose last week's rewards by doing that again.
