Reaper career NPC Sims should appear as deceased but are “alive”

I attached a video. My sim works in the Life&Death Reaper career. She’s at her job trying to “investigate the deaths” of those NPC Sims in the video, but the deceased sims are “alive” even though they are tagged as dead above their names. I play on PlayStation 5 with no CC or mods installed.
