Reaper's Rewards: GUI not showing tasks

I have done everything to get this event to work. I have repaired my game, I have deleted the accounts data file, took out and disabled mods, I even deleted my entire sims 4 file from the electronic arts folder and played a fully vanilla game and still NOTHING. I can see the little grim icon but the plumbob icons that are supposed to be above it are nowhere to be seen so I can't access the event tasks. The only thing I haven't done is uninstalling and reinstalling the game but I would like to avoid doing that since it would take HOURS. Point is I need help and for some reason the recent patch update didn't fix the issue for me and I just want to know if I am not alone because I really want the rewards and I feel like I'm going crazy trying to do so.
