Ideas
I moved the Electronic Arts folder to my desktop and slightly changed the folder name. Then I started a new game and it worked. I moved all my saves from the desktop EA folder to the new EA folder and went back to the game I've been playing...that worked too!
Oh wow finally a solution that helped me! It even fixed other things-- I didn't have express mail delivery as an option before, etc. Thank you so much for sharing this solution!
