Romantic interaction broken after aging up sims in relationship

My issue is the teen sims date their entire "teen years" and in different families they age up to young adult, already with max friendship and romance bar. during the teen years options like "mess around in bed, bush, sauna" etc are good and they work, the interaction goes through. but after I age them up to young adult, have one propose to the other and get them married, merging households the romance interactions "woohoo in bush, sauna, bed, shower" etc don't work, the Sims act like they reset themselves. I've cleared the cache (I deleted one drive to see if that fixes the issue) I've verified files in steam, I've tested it on another test sim family and there is no issue if I set them to already married. and it seems to be only my current sim family that I play that this affects right after they age up and marry. I've tried every troubleshoot I could find searching forums and outside help, but it doesn't fix it no matter what I do. I've had it happen multiple times since the may update and my game is fully updated and integrity of the files is verified. It seems that each time the only fix is to delete the entire save and restart from the beginning which gets annoying real quick.

 

If it helps I do not use mods or Custom Content, I use a couple of cheat codes (Motherlode or reset cheat needs on my horses when the ranch hand refuses to feed my foals)

 

I just need a fix so I can resume my teenage romance to adult marriage love story

    When you say you deleted One Drive, you did not mention if your game was saving there. And if it was, did you simply delete One Drive or did you go through the steps needed to redirect Windows to know where your saves and such should go?

    both?  my saves are now in my program files and steam folder, (at least I believe so, cause they saved somehow lol) but I uninstalled onedrive entirely partly for sims other reason it was causing issue with other apps and games

    I asked because if One Drive was backing up your data and moved your document folder to One Drive, then simply uninstalling One Drive will not fix it like you think it should. Not that I have seen or heard of anyway. The easiest way to check is to know the date and time you last played sims 4 and then check for your Sims 4 save folder here C:\Users\myname\Documents\ and C:\Users\myname\OneDrive\Documents

    The reason is that usually when One Drive takes it over, there is a process that needs to be done to get everything back on your PC and redirect Windows so it knows. Simply copying and pasting or trying to cut and paste your data won't work. I don't think you playing through Steam will make any difference. Not sure but that will be easy enough to know once you make sure where your Sims 4 is saving to. I can give you the instructions on how to fix that but it might not help your problem with woohoo. Then again who knows. I am not having that problem but many people are. Anyhow let me know about your saves and I will send you the info if needed.

    further search showed still going to a onedrive folder even when one drive was deleted. so any help with moving save files that would be greatly appreciated.
