There must be a back-log for this to still be under investigation. It seems like a pretty serious bug since it's darn near game-breaking, especially for storytellers. These are the fixes I've attempted so far, to no luck:
- Playing with and without mods
- Using MC Command Center to set romance decay to 0
- Taking sims on a romantic date and getting gold (a suggestion I've read from another player)
- Changing lots
- Manually manipulating the relationship values
These things have not worked for me. Add to this the issue of male sims pulled from the gallery on Cupids Corner having female voices, and I'm finding that I like the Lovestruck pack a lot less than I initially did.
