I have a problem in my game when I want to save my game.. I receive a message that tells me: "Save error. Error code: 0.". I don't know what can I do.. However, I tried to resolve this problem and I deleted all my mods and CC, but the problem is always present... Can someone help me ?

I've been having the same error since yesterday and I was about to give up when I saw this thread. Glad I'm not alone. Hope they will fix it soon.
I've tried some old advice I found in the forums: I uninstalled my antivirus program and I deleted tmp files but it didn't work. One thread also suggested that I made sure to check my security settings so that the game has permission to my documents folders, however, when I check those settings, there is no option for Sims or EA, so I'm not sure how to do that. :(
I'm on a MacBook and I have no mods.
I'm bouncing on the same problem. Got some things out of the game. Again let the files run. Removed the mod and the problem just kept on going. Now you can continue playing quietly, but instead of how you normally save, you have to save a new file every time instead of overwriting the save file. That does work. Hopefully they will get this problem out of the game soon

Hi friend. I'm having the same issue. The only work-around that I have found to work in the meantime is always doing "Save As" and renaming the save. I just delete the various old versions as I go so as to not end up with dozens of saves. I don't know why that works but it's allowed me to continue to play while we wait for a patch. I hope you're able to find a way to still play as well. Good luck <3
I'm having the same problem. Never had any mods or custom content (CC) I've tried clearing my cache, repairing, and then downloaded an update that suddenly popped up..... But nothing has worked.
Save As does work but it's super annoying for me as I save often since my laptop likes to crash. Uhg....
Still have that with and without mods I will try a new save since we just got a patch but at least save as works.

I also started getting the same bug after the new expansion pack update, it's super annoying. Thankful for all the comments saying "save as" works, will be trying that. Hope this will be fixed soon for all of us :(
Check the mailbox of the household you are playing for the community space project.
If you are getting error code 0 after the July 2024 patch, it is the same as my environment.
If there are any projects running, try erasing all running projects using the cheat code.
I am a Japanese whose English is not good, so I use machine translation for comments.

Thanks, I don’t understand everything but I think this bug comes from the last patch.. I will wait for the next update, I hope that this will solve my problem. While waiting for this next update, I remove the ". tmp" in my file saves but it only works for 2 saves in my game... I don’t know what else to do except wait..
i found some old forums on this from a couple years ago and before it was neighborhood stories related (based off what i found), so im guessing this could be the case again. as old bugs often come back in the same form. they did update neighborhood stories with the lovestruck patch to include relationship changes. I am currently reinstalling my game and will play test with neighborhood stories off. im not actually sure this is gonna fix this bug, but im willing to try.
Been playing the Sims 4 on PS4 system it keeps giving me (can not save error code 0 ) the only way it will save is if I make a new save every time. So now I have multiple savings for the same household I'm hoping this gets fixed soon the July 2024 update might have something to do with it also anyone know how to delete previous saves on a PS4
I am also having this same issue after the most recent patch, with or without mods or CC. I have repaired the game, cleared my caches, let game create entire new Sims 4 folder, and removed saves folder and let game create a new one. After clearing the caches it works for awhile; however I end up getting same error again. I can also save as and use different names, but as others have said this is quite a pain.
I'm also getting this error code with my current favourite save. I thought it was my mods, but it still happened when I removed them. I will try the save as option instead for now, but that is kind of ridiculous that we have to do that. I hope this gets a fix - are they asking for saves?
Hello all! I had this error after the most recent patch. I had a previous save of my file and tried everything but after about 20 in-game minutes, I would try to save and get the error. I noticed that it would happen after one of my sims would get a Neighborhood Story notification about despising Kori Bjergsen. I went back to the OG save file. Deleted their relationship, turned off Neighborhood stories and closed his Social Bunny (just in case) and I haven't received the error. It's been about a week in-game and a couple of days irl. I noticed that it was that one Interaction with Kori that corrupted my file. I've continued to play it without issues after deleting their relationship. I'm not sure how that was causing the issue but I was able to save before and as soon as that would pop up, I would get the error when I tried to save again. Did you receive any other notification that may not be from neighborhood stories? like the relationship updates from Social Bunny o something? Maybe it's not from Neighborhood Stories after all, but I turned it off too, just in case.
