I made a post about this yesterday but that was a bit all over the place so I’m redoing it.
My game runs fine up until I take a screenshot, then it either crashes or freezes and I have to close it myself. I made a fresh save to see if it was the specific save that I was playing and it crashed there too.
I started using Andrew’s pose player recently which is when the issue started. I took it out of my game, but it is still happening.
I also have MC command center and some of Lumpinou’s mods as those have been updated for the patch. I use some mods by adeepindigo but they are not in my game at the moment because I haven’t heard news about updates for them. I also use cc.
It only gave me one crash report. It was one of the times I had the pose player in my game.
And my dxdiag because I think that’s helpful?
But yeah if anyone knows what’s going on I’d really appreciate it.
485460 Your graphics driver is several years old and has been crashing. So please install the newest one AMD provides for your processor and graphics chip:
Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
If that doesn't help, try switching to DirectX 9 mode. You should be able to play in DX11 mode, but this is at least a useful test.
Bibliophile2019 LadyDarkSorrow Please try DX9 mode too, just to see whether it works. If it doesn't, I'd like dxdiags from both of you as well. LadyDarkSorrow I know I have a recent one from you, but if EA is looking into this issue, it will be helpful to have your dxdiag attached to this thread.
puzzlezaddict Sims 4 been rock solid from bios update. took screenshot/crash.. have dx11 log. you want it? . as you requested , testing dx9, crash on load game. 2nd time loaded, took 75 screenshots without problems. went back to dx11, game loaded without issues, screenshots working atm.

puzzlezaddict I’ll keep this in mind. I downloaded it but while installing it said my computer ran into a problem and restarted. I see a friend on Sunday who is more tech-savvy than me so I’ll explain the issue to them. I’m just a bit worried if I touch anything I’ll break more lol.
I haven’t switched to DX9 yet but I’m not in much of a hurry to play, so I’ll test that if installing the new graphics driver doesn’t work.
