LadyDarkSorrow Yes, a dxdiag would be useful as a reference. I asked around a bit and have merged the thread where you posted into a bug report about what looks to be the same underlying issue. (The title is a bit narrow right now, but that may change.) The hardware involved here is kind of all over the map, so more information may be helpful.
EA_Solaire has also asked for affected saves earlier in this thread, if you're willing to share.
Dinky21b As mentioned originally, it would be helpful to have a dxdiag from your computer. EA_Solaire is also looking for saves, as above.

dabrat2255 Please update your Nvidia graphics driver to the version that came out a couple days ago. The one you have was implicated in several issues, and your dxdiag lists some crashes of the driver. This is regardless of whether DX9 mode helps. A save would be appreciated too.
puzzlezaddict I hope the EA team will be able to solve this problem in the nearest future. Many players, like me, actively screenshot their favorite game, and without this opportunity any desire to play simply disappears
Probably was the old driver plus the Game-Update for me. Or maybe only the driver because the new version came out so close to the Game-Update.
Since I updated the graphics driver 3 days ago I didn't have the issue again. But I will tell you if it comes up again.
I had the issue in all of my saves and I played since then, so I don't know if I could provide one but I will look in to it.

My Game crashed again yesterday after taking a Screenshot. No Idea why it worked for so long, but the problem seems to be still there unfortunaly.
