Severe Lag

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)

I play the Sims 4 game on a PC, and I am sorry I am an old person that plays the game so I have no clue what cc or mods are, sorry about that. Thank you so much for your help.

if you don't know what Mods/CC are, then you're most probably not using any.

Mods/CC are third party content you can download from the internet (not houses and Sims, those don't count) but for example stuff that alters how the game acts or extra furniture/clothing etc created by the community.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
