Sheep, Goats, And Chickens Disappear randomly

When my sims leave the lot and then return, my farm animals disappear (chickens, goats, sheep). They are not in the sims' inventory or family's inventory, and there is no longer any relationship with them. They just disappeared.

I play on PC, don't use mods, recently installed Horse Ranch.
