I am using mccc and ui cheats (and I did update them properly), but didn´t do anything with them then. Also I obviously cant test it because it was a one time bug. Playing on PC, Windows 10. As I said, it just didnt work, there was no saving circle appearing or anything
One time issues are always really hard to pinpoint, especially if they happen on a modded game.
There are other reports of Sims dying emotional death without reason: Sim Dying Emotional Death Randomly | EA Forums - 12395659 but I don't think there were any issues with saving and Sims not being dead afterwards.
Bit odd that she was still dead/a ghost although it didn't save. Did everything revert to the prior save point when you reloaded ?
