Sim gets toddler(?) animation for a few seconds
No idea if this is old or new. I searched a bit but found nothing related.
It has happened in my game after installing AA, but that also included patching my game (likely a couple patces).
What happens: Sim will clip to a sitting on ground animation for about 2-3 seconds. The animation is obviously not matching a full grown sim, but might suit a toddler, or maybe big dog animation? The animation is not frozen, but neither is there any movement that can help spotting te exact animation.
(last picture: sim might be affected by chilly weather and no clothing)
This has been happening to several sims in several households. In one household it happens to the same two sims every time I check the household. It doesn't matter what sim is actively played, and it happens if they are in a chat situation or if they are all by themselves. There is no action/que indicating they are performing any specific action or wanting to do so.
The weird animation lasts for only a few seconds and then the game continues as normal. It might repeat later during the session though. Game is not crashing or hanging.
So far I only noticed this with new sims. I created many new households in Gibbi Point, and all cases relate to those households. It happens on lots in Gibbi Point (the household pictured doesn't even have a house = empty lot), but also in other worlds.
It seems to isolate to a few individuals. In a house of 7 members (pictured), 2 YA men keep sitting down. They have no common trait. I also eptied theit inventories (one was empty all along).
I removed my entire Mods folder and deleted the thumbscache file. This changed nothing.
I also took them to CAS and stripped off all outfits (5 lower categories) and head assets (3 lower categories. This changed nothing. Did not remove hair and beards.
I will take notes when I see this on more sims, in case it is something spreading. So far I saw it on 3 or 4 new sims only, I think they were all born in game (not created in CAS), but aged up in CAS.
