Sims 4 bugs

My games been having a couple issues. First my sims won’t do certain interactions with each other, for example the parents cannot teach the child how to ride a bike. They will just stand still then get the plus friendship but nothing happens. Also my child sim got taken away for neglect but he was fine. His needs were all the way up and his grades were fine. I already tried removing my mods, repairing my game, and resetting the sim themselves nothings worked. can someone help?
