Sims 4 suck on the console

I am beyond fed up with EA Sports and The Sims 4 on Xbox. After this last update, they supposedly fixed the issue where the packs wouldn’t show up—cool, right? But now, every single time I start the game, it freezes on this screen talking about “fixing the graphics,” and then it just cuts me off completely, closing the whole game. I can’t even save—I’ve been playing the same spot since yesterday, and now it’s like it never happened. I’m so sick of this every time they “fix” something, they break another thing. It’s a never-ending cycle, and I just can’t deal with this game anymore. Has anyone else had this happen, or does anyone have a workaround? Because this is just constant nonsense.

The game isn't as bad as it seems. I've been playing for a long time. Just give it time and be patient. EA usually fixes things promptly. I've been on this forum for a while. Just returned from about a year break. I'm using an Xbox Series S and PS5. I've played on Xbox One S and PS4 for years. Which Xbox are you using? Honestly this game needs a remaster or brand new version. I'm having problems with the Gallery. I posted about but haven't gotten a response yet. Sometimes I uninstall the game and reinstall it, and I'll create a brand new save by deleting the file everywhere on the game menu of the Xbox. I normally save important items to the Gallery so I can get them later. And make sure your Xbox is updated as well. I update my Xbox and controller regularly. Do you use Xbox One S or X, or Xbox Series S or X?

to be fair this has been happening well before then so it's probably been going on for actually like 10 years.
