Sims can't get jobs

Could you give a bit more details what happens ? I assume you mean the reaper career ?

Any mods/cc in your game ?

I go to where i can click get a job under the phone.  She plays with the phone for a little bit then her arms fly out to the side like she's resetting herself.  I tried a few different ways that she can get a job and all the same result.  It only started after I updated my game and downloaded life and death.

I have mods.  I havn't dowloaded anything new for months.  I was just hoping that after the next update comes out, something might shift and give me back the job thing.  The last update I couldn't label a lot for  residental rental the option didn't even show up.  As always it got fixed after I got an update.

Mods/cc get outdated with patches. You need to keep them current.

Please move your mods folder to the desktop, delete Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > localthumbcache, repair your game and then try again on a backup of your save to see of you can duplicate the issue on a game with no mods.
