Sims coming back from school/work after reloading game

After the update when I log out save the game while my 2 child sims went to school and an adult sim gone out to work, when I log back in all of them came home? They were like gone for one or 2 hours ...

Loading a save tends to reset things like sleeping, sitting, and attending work, school, and other rabbit hole activities. It's best to wait until your Sims have finished things like that before you save.
