They did do something! However, the eyes are still not like they used to be. Here is an image of my sim after this recent update. It shows that the old CC lashes now properly fit on the eyes.
EDIT: I think they may have fixed most of it anyways. It's a good sign that these old CC eyelashes now fit around the eyes.
EDIT: The update however made her lips bigger. I had to re-click the preset again.
EDIT: The eyes might not look the same as they did before the Lovestruck update, but that may because this update messed up the actual preset setting, like how it made her lips bigger. Her lips were smaller before this update.
