After installing today's update, my Sim's eyes look funny and weird. It wasn't like this before the update.
Here is what my sim looked like before the Lovestruck patch.
This is what she looks like after the Lovestruck patch. As you can see the eyes have changed shape and are off. Also, the old CC lashes shows how drastically the shape of the eyes have changed. *Also, the natural eyelashes that come with preset eyes are also lighter. They should be black. This bug was also introduced after the Lovestruck patch.

rjssimHi Rjssim, how's your sim's face after the distorted toddler bug getting fixed? Are their eye shape and other facial presets changed after the fix or are they appeared same? I haven't had a chance to update my game. Thank you.
StrifeDacostaAfter the recent update, she now looks the same as she did before the Lovestruck patch! Here is two image of her after (left) and before (right) the Lovestruck patch. I posted the images in photoshop and rapidly flipped through the two to see if there were any differences, and the shape of the eye and everything is the same (shape wise)! The lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug is still clearly visible in the new image, but that is a separate eye bug issue.
The eye shape bug is fixed, and the two screenshots confirm that, and my tests through photoshop confirm that. The lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug is still there, and I haven't tested the other eye issues, so I don't know about them. The eye shape bug was just one of the eye bug issues.
crinrictThe eye shape bug (this eye issue only) can be marked as fixed. I tested it with a screenshot of my sim before the Lovestruck patch, and then the patch that came with the release of Businesses & Hobbies. It is fixed! Again though, this is only the eye shape bug. It might be best to just change the title of this bug to only Eye Shape Bug. The eyelids not closing bug, lighter eyelashes with preset eyes but, and all the other eye issues are separate from this.
EDIT: Please note, there might be others voting this not fixed because they were most likely used to the eyes that changed after the Lovestruck patch, and now that the shape has been fixed, they look different after months of being broken to the people who got used to the broken eye shape or didn't even know about the bug.
EDIT 2: The eyelids not closing and all the other eye bug issues are present. I just tested them. So again, only the eye shape bug is fixed.
I can't make these decisions what's considered fixed but I'll pass it on to a CM. For the future, just tag a CM instead of me if you think something is fixed.
The problem may be solved for you, but it's absolutely not solved for me and the 300 people who voted and participated in the new thread. Please don't make such assertions, by doing so you risk hindering the progress of the eyelid bugs resolution. The eyelids shape bug is NOT solved.
This bug is fixed. I have checked other sims. The screen comparisons match that of before the Lovestruck patch. The other eye bug issues are not related to this. Eyelids not closing, lighter eyelashes with preset eyes, eyes going into eyelids are still present, but they are not tied to this bug. The images and the old CC lashes prove that this bug is fixed.
Rather than focusing on a bug that doesn't need fixing, they need to now focus on those eye bug issues that need fixing, such as the eyelids not closing.
Like, has there been no changes to your sim's eye shape at all since the the last couple of patches? The first of the recent patches fixed the shape for me but distorted the presets, so my sim still didn't look quite the same as before the Lovestruck patch. After this most recent patch, all of my sims look like they did before the Lovestruck patch shape wise. The lighter eyelashes with preset eyes and all the other eye bugs are still present, but as you can see in my screenshot comparison, she looks the same, shape wise but with the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes.
So, if it is working for me but not you, then perhaps there is something else going on here? Like I said, all my sims look like they did before the Lovestruck (shape wise) patch now, and the image comparisons are proving it.
If a community manager is reading this, please ignore my request to mark this as fixed for now. I can only speak for myself, and the eye shape bug is definitely fixed for me. I compared old screenshots from before the Lovestruck patch with the newer screenshots after the latest patch, and my sims look the same as they did before the Lovestruck patch shape wise. I also shared a screen comparison here that shows my sims looks the same as she did before the Lovestruck patch now. If others are still having this issue, I don't want it to be unfair for them. Perhaps there are other issues happening. EX: The romance bug. Some people said it was fine up until the recent expansion and others said it has been a problem for a while. So, maybe its best to just keep investigating this eye shape bug issue for now.

Like in that image I posted below, The old image of her was from August 9th 2023, well before the Lovestruck expansion. The newest image of her was taken yesterday, and the images match. I even spent time in Photoshop comparing the two, and she looks the same now as she did back in August 9th 2023, besides the lighter eyelashes with preset eyes. I also compared other sims with the older screenshots, and they now also look the same as before the Lovestruck patch too. So, it's just puzzling why others may be still experiencing this particular bug.
Either way though. If its fixed for some and not others, EA needs to continue investigating this, and of course, all the other eye bug issues as well. Us story tellers won't be able to continue with our stories until all eye bug issues are resolved. Also, the romance bug and that very critical save game corrupting bug also need to be fixed. That save destroying bug is pretty scary, especially when your playing a 10 year old saved game.
