I was really hoping this new update would have fixed this massive bug but it’s still an issue for me. If any of my household sims are at work or school and I travel with another sim, they all return home. It has actually ruined the game for me and stopped me from buying any more expansion packs - it’s impossible to get a promotion or earn money, and I can’t use the active careers without making everyone else return home.
Here is the solution:
You have to finish the entire event and this bug will stop happening. The UI Cheats mod will allow you to click through the event without actually having to complete the tasks.
How do you get UI cheats? And I finished the event for the week and it was still happening
