Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

Same! My teen went to school, I traveled with ONLY her mom, and the whole school showed up to the park I had traveled to. Go back to class, hoodlums!

I'm having exactly the same issue if anyone goes of the lot whoever is at work or school comes straight home. I don't have any mods or cc 

Need help as soon as my sim goes to work in detective career all the other sims return home please anybody with advise simple terms please cause am not pc clever 

There is a bigger thread about this, definitely a bug and it definitely has to do with the event. If you complete all the available quests (this can be done in a fresh save, and very quickly if you cheat up your skills) the issue will resolve.

I have two sims I’m playing at the moment and whenever my female sim goes to work (which is the science career) and I travel with her, her Husband leaves work and comes straight home. I had him quite his job because he wasn’t making any money. My female sim I sent to work and when I travel with my male sim, my female sim comes home. I don’t know if this is a bug or not but it’s starting to get annoying when I can’t even have one sim leave the house without the other one not finishing a day of work. I do know there are other ways of making money but I do wish one sim can stay at work when leaving to go to another area. Please let me know if this a bug or not

I have two teenagers. When they go to school and I travel to another lot with a different sim, they immediately return home from school as soon as that sim loads into the new lot.

I've noticed this bug too. A couple of days ago, when the latest update dropped, I removed my mods folder, updated the game and then played on my vanilla save whilst I tried to complete the Nature's Calling event. My Sim was off the lot and had to go to work, and when I got transported back to the home lot, everyone suddenly came home. The kids came back from school, the parents stopped working, and I couldn't send anyone back to work/school. This has a knock-on effect on promotions, grades, money earned, etc. 

This!! It is extremely annoying, I have sims and children at school - if another sim is at home for the day I can't get them to travel anywhere as the others will immediately come home from work and school! 

I'm having this issue also. At first it was just sims leaving work early. But when I played with a household with a child the child left school early when I followed the dad to the detective job. So far nothing fixes it that I've tried.
