Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

I'm having this issue as well. It also happens when exiting the game and if a sim is at work or school when loading back in it'll pop up with if I want them to leave or not. Other times if I have a sim at home that travels anywhere the others will just come home from work/school.       I'm on PC, no mods/cc. 

This is happening to me too, my teens grades have gone down so much because of it :(

I was responding to another user who asked where they could find the mod.  I was not responding to you.  We are all here because - we have been afflicted with this bug.  This mod has worked for some.  I am sorry it hasn't worked for you.  The solution is of course a fix for the actual game. But, if the mod works - it is beyond helpful - until a real solution is found.

And the mod worked in my game.  I right clicked through all the quests - wiithout my sim having to do anything.  Once the quests were all achieved.  I saved the game.  And so far, everything is back to normal.  Eveyrone has stayed at work or school respectively.

How is that meant to fix anything? I already have the mod and it's updated, yet I'm still experiencing the bug.

I've been experiencing this very same issue since the latest update. Whenever my Sims leave the lot, when they come back, whatever Sims were at school or work end up leaving early. I still can't see if there's a way to fix this.

I started having that problem when the new quest started. Someone left in the thread that completing a Nature's Calling quest fixes it. I completed a quest and haven't had that problem lately. 

SAME! Ever since I downloaded Lovestruck and For Rent, kids come home early from school and their performance gets worse, and adults come home early from work...some only earning 1 simoleon. I basically have to keep everyone home so that one person can go out. 

Literally came here to see if it was just me. I’m on PS4 and out of nowhere my sims keep leaving work early and it’s depleting their performance even though I sent them to work and played with as another sim. This wasn’t happening to me a week ago. EA please fix

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem or if it's just my game but I have a household with multiple sims and one owns a separate small business lot, and if some of the sims are at work or school and I try to send the sim to her small business lot, it glitches and brings the other sims home from work and school. It was happening before the other patches and game updates so that leads me to believe that maybe it doesn't affect every game or else it would've been fixed? Either way, it's very annoying and it makes it so I can only run the small business when all the other sims are not occupied which is very limiting. *I'm a pc player if that is significant*

Ah... I am so glad I am not the only one who ha this issue. Another update another bugs as always. Old bug which was fixed up now it is again back. It is not only travelling but any loading screen and not always other sim. Even if the controlled simis not in home lot and he goes to work from another after loading screen he stays in home and there is notification about finishng job and earning 1 simoleon.
And what... would I need make another new save file after "fix"?
