Setting this to review as it has 5 upvotes but could you please all double-check your settings to make sure they didn't get reset.
Also is it all Sims doing nothing ? Are NPCs doing stuff ?
The NPCs move just fine for me but my sims stand still for 10 minutes straight. I'm use to them going to the treadmill or the pool or the swing on their own. Now it's just nothing.

I'm having the same problem everytime I log into sims since I've downloaded adventure awaits. My sims are standing still until I tell them to do something. It seems to be a bit of lag for them to action the task and the game is constantly crashing. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled nothing has changed.
