Sims won't stop doing mischief and flirting despite their preferences.

My sims keep flirting with everyone so I changed their preferences to make them stop but they still do it regardless, I don't know how else to stop this. They're also constantly doing mischievous interactions so I made them dislike mischief, hoping it will make them stop but it hasn't worked. 

I have no mods installed and I dont use cheats due to achievement hunting.
