Simulation Lag and Freezing since L&D

Hi yes, I've tried both with and without mods and encountered the issue as I said in my original post. I tried another method as I am beginning to think its something related to when sims are sleeping and the time goes 3x speed. I took out the sunrise alarm clock by lot51 and have been playing for a few sim days (making sure sims go to sleep during the time of the issue). So far, the issue has stopped, it still has minor freezes but no more than a few seconds as opposed to the long lengthy freezes before.

I will continue to monitor over the weekend and see if this continues to "work".

I thought you removed your mods/cc ? You only get the LE without mods as it's related to removed CC.

Please do test a vanilla game.

To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.

- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.

Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

I do not recall having issues with infants. I've not had any LEs in a long while either. I just get the pregnancy checks that happen with MCC at midnight hour. Even when the freezing occurs as it does at around 4-5am I get not LEs from it, I'm eventually able to click between sims again and time returns to normal with no prompts. Could it be related to a sleep mod? I have sleep all night from littlemssam and the sunrise alarm clock from lot51.

Thank you for checking, does this mean it must be related to a mod then? I've never had an issue with endless loading.

finally got around to test your save (hope I tested the correct one)

Is the error supposed to show up right away ? I wasn't able to load your save with no mods as I got endless loading because of the milestone LE. Once I fixed that one, I don't seem to see any freezing issues. I've run the game for 2 Sims days.

Tested the household with the 3 infants. Did you have the issues before you had the infants ?

I know you said it's multiple saves but would you be willing to share your main save with me ?

If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.

No unfortunately, there a some similarities; not being able to switch between sims, the environment moving. But my sims stand frozen on the spot/sitting. Sometimes I am able to right click at reset the sim between freezing and then they just t-pose. But then unfortunately the sim is still frozen. Most the time its proceeded by nothing. I've got into the habit of getting up and walking away to do something else and I come back and the game is running as is, no pop-ups.

If I play with a new household it does not at first, however as time goes on it starts happening. This is the case with all households I've played, since, I want to say, early January.

Yup, that looks fine now. Pity it didn't help. Unfortunately with freezing issues it's insanely hard to tell what's causing it.

Does the issue affect all your households ? It sounds similar to this: Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves | EA Forums - 11885395 but from what I tested, it's not affecting all families. 

It's probably something in the background firing if it freezes at the same time that causes issue. Do you get any notifications after it unfreezes ? Like phone or the ones in upper right corner ?

EDIT; You do have a lot of Windows Updates errors. Make sure your windows doesn't have any outstanding updates to install.
